Log in on gssftp server without the need of using Kerberos authentication:
-bash-3.00$ vi /etc/xinetd.d/gssftp
# default: off
# description: The kerberized FTP server accepts FTP connections \
# that can be authenticated with Kerberos 5.
service ftp
{
disable = no
flags = REUSE
socket_type = stream
wait = no
user = root
server = /usr/kerberos/sbin/ftpd
#server_args = -l -a
server_args = -l
log_on_failure += USERID
}
I had to use it on RedHat5.
